A draft amending and supplementing a number of articles in eight laws, including the Law on Public Investment, the Law on Investment in the Model of Public-Private Partnership, the Law on Investment, the Law on Bidding, and the Law on Electricity, among others, is expected to be submitted to the National Assembly (NA) in its December extra-ordinary session.

During an online discussion on October 27 on the implementation of social insurance policies and regimes for 2022, National Assembly deputies asked the government to urgently study, develop, and submit to the NA amendments to the Law on Social Insurance that address problems and inadequacies in the existing law.

According to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, current amendments to the Law on Insurance Business aim to remove obstacles and help the insurance market develop faster and more sustainably.

The Law on Telecommunications needs to be amended to develop telecommunications infrastructure, expand the space for telecommunications businesses to develop, and promote telecommunications infrastructure to assist the digital economy and digital society, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications.
