HCMC focuses on developing inter-regional transport

Under the approved traffic planning project for Ho Chi Minh City, its transportation network will include six expressways, three ring roads, five elevated roads, eight urban railway lines, and six rapid bus routes. Two expressways have been completed to date, with one other under construction. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport, the city’s traffic development must be linked with neighboring provinces and be inter-regional.
