Construction of the Ho Tram – Long Thanh International Airport Urban Expressway project officially commenced on July 1.
The expressway is identified as a strategic component of the inter-regional connectivity network in Vietnam's Southeastern region. It provides a direct link between Eastern Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai City, and former Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province (now part of Ho Chi Minh City), while integrating key urban centers, economic zones, tourism hubs, and the national transportation system.
In the long term, the formation of this transport axis is expected to reshape investment flows and accelerate the development of high-quality resort tourism. Furthermore, it will create favorable conditions for the Ho Tram area to fully leverage its competitive advantages in the marine economy and services sector.
The project is developed by Masterise Long Thanh – Ho Tram Expressway Infrastructure, a subsidiary of Masterise Group. Once completed, the expressway is expected to significantly reduce travel times and enhance accessibility to Ho Tram from Long Thanh International Airport and major urban centers.
