The establishment of a high-tech park covering more than 496 ha  in northern Hung Yen province has been approved under Prime Ministerial Decision No. 1499/QD-TTg, signed on August 6 by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung.

The Hung Yen High-Tech Park will be located in Hoan Long and Viet Yen communes and will focus on high-tech activities in line with Vietnam’s national high-tech development policies.

The park will undertake research, application and development of high technologies and strategic technologies, as well as manufacture high-tech and strategic technology products. It will also provide high-tech and strategic technology services.

In addition, the park will support technology incubation, training and technology transfer, contributing to the development of a high-tech ecosystem in the province.

The facility will also perform other functions and tasks assigned to high-tech parks under Vietnam’s relevant laws and regulations.

The establishment of the park is expected to create a platform for attracting high-tech investment, promoting research and development, and strengthening Hung Yen’s capacity in strategic technology sectors.
