The People's Council of central Hue city has approved a resolution identifying key transport infrastructure projects to be implemented under the public-private partnership (PPP) model, paving the way for private investment in major connectivity upgrades across the city.

Under the resolution, Hue will seek investors for six strategic transport projects with a combined estimated investment of VND18.646 trillion (approximately $715 million).

The project portfolio includes a VND1.8 trillion road linking Area B of An Van Duong Urban Area to Phu Vang Commune; the La Son–Vinh Ha–Giang Hai route, including Ha Trung Bridge, with an estimated investment of nearly VND3 trillion; a VND1.5 trillion road connecting Ho Quy Ly Street with Provincial Road 2, including Phu Hau–Tien Non Bridge; and a VND550 billion road linking Quang Dien and Kim Tra.

The list also features the first phase of the western breakwater at Chan May Port, estimated at VND1.8 trillion, and the largest project—a VND10 trillion road connecting the Chan May–Lang Co Economic Zone with the Cam Lo–Tuy Loan Expressway.

Once completed, the projects are expected to significantly strengthen Hue's strategic transport network by improving connectivity between urban areas, industrial parks, the Chan May–Lang Co Economic Zone, the national expressway system, seaports, and neighboring localities.
