Da Nang Business, Finance and Technology Week 2026 opened on July 7, bringing together leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities, along with more than 500 delegates from diplomatic missions, investors, and international speakers.
The six-day event will feature five key activities, beginning with an opening ceremony, followed by a high-level policy dialogue themed "New Growth – Innovation – Global City."
Other highlights include the Vietnam Finance Forum 2026, a seminar on strengthening collaboration among government, universities and businesses, and the Da Nang Semiconductor and High Technology 2026 Conference, which will focus on advancing the city's ambitions to become a regional hub for the semiconductor and high-tech industries.
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang was quoted by the Government News as saying that the event is not merely an investment promotion activity or a platform to showcase the city's image, but also serves as a forum to share experiences in policymaking, finance, technology, businesses, academia, and international expertise.
It also provides a space for policymakers, experts, investors, and enterprises to discuss development issues that are essential for Viet Nam's next stage of development, the Deputy Prime Minister said.
